Within the government-to-government relationship, Indian Affairs provides services directly or through contracts, grants, or compacts to 564 Federally recognized tribes.

Echo Hawk Announces Tribal Consulation on Indian Gaming Land into Trust Determinations
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Assistant Secretary-Indian Affairs Larry Echo Hawk today announced that the Indian Affairs Offices of Indian Gaming Land into Trust Determinations. A letter announcing the meetings was sent to tribal leaders on August 24, 2010.
